Even though it will stay warm here in the San Diego area for quite some time, I still want to feel like it is Fall and change up my wardrobe as such. For this month’s Fix, I specifically asked my stylist to send me items in Fall trend colors, but to make sure they are light enough to be worn here in our warmer temps. She did exactly that!
This top is the epitome of what I wanted when I asked my stilyst for fall trend colors in lightweight pieces. I love the mustard and burgundy and the fun print. The sleeves are slightly longer than my summer tops and while the bottom hem is longer in the back, it does not look weird this time. Even though it is still hot out, I definitely feel like Fall is in the air with this top.
I paired the outfit with the brown booties that also came in this month’s Fix. Right off the bat I really liked that they had a ruggedness to them. The darker coloring at the toe and low, stacked heel made me think of riding boots, yet the bootie cut is cute and in line with current trends.

Boy, did I get one awesome Fix!
So when your stylist sends you your “unicorn,” you don’t send it back! Speaking of the word back, do you see the back of this top?! Talk about party in the back! I am all about color, but I really appreciate the fact that this top is black. It can be worn multiple ways, with multiple items!
One thing that I really love about Stitch Fix, is how personal it feels. My stylist has been my stylist (at my request) for a long long long time. And there’s a reason for it. I feel like she really pays attention to my style and considers my notes and feedback very seriously. Makes me feel warm & fuzzy.
Well, this is right up my alley. I have continually requested more feminine, floral tanks/tops for the Summer (since I’m straying away from stripes). And my stylist definitely delivered. Not only does this have a pretty, dainty pattern, I love the lace detail on the front of the top. It makes it different from all of the other Summer blouses I have.
This month’s box was the best Stitch Fix box I have ever gotten. Seriously, I’m having such a hard time deciding what to keep. I’m so happy that I took the time to work on my Style Pinterest board and leave some detailed notes for my stylist. It really seemed to pay off.
As soon as I saw these pieces in the box, I swooned. This cardigan is on my Pinterest board and I was so excited to get it in my box. (You can see how windy it was because the cardigan was flying all over the place!) This top is absolutely perfect for summer. I love the teal color and the floral pattern. So gorgeous!
I designated a pretty wide price range when I made my Stitch Fix profile because the older I get the more I appreciate quality over quantity. I’d rather own fewer things and have those few things be high-quality pieces that I love and wear all the time. So I’m not frustrated by this fix–I’m excited by the caliber!
Such a cute warm-weather top! The boho-meets-preppy vibe is the perfect mix of my personal style with classic New England summer attire.
I knew it would be a bit of a challenge for my stylist, as I haven’t started wearing maternity clothes yet but some of my regular clothes are starting to get a little tight. I appreciated the mix of maternity and non-maternity items that she sent.
I don’t own a lot of tops with dolman sleeves, and at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about them. However, when I put this top on I absolutely loved it. This color is my favorite right now, and I’ve been wanting another solid colored top in a bright color. It’s nice and stretchy, so it will grow with my belly, at least for the first part of my pregnancy.
For those of you who have never heard of Stitch Fix, here is the concept. You fill out an online profile of your size and style, and from there your stylist picks out 5 items to send to your front door. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my items and I am sure I will be scheduling one again sometime soon.
The minute I put this tank top on, I fell in love. I love how loose and flowy it is and even better is its extremely comfortable. I am always on the hunt for longer shirts that I can wear with leggings and this top is perfect for that.
One of the best things about Stitch Fix, and a reason to try it at least TWICE is their referral program. When you sign up, you get a referral link. Share it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter, and if anyone signs up with your link, you get $25 in Stitch Fix credit! The more you share, the more likely people are to sign up, so show them what you got!
I wasn’t really in the market for jeans, okay? This time, my stylist found a pair and sent them, but they’re a lighter wash than I’d had before. I’m so stuck on dark denim for everyday that I wasn’t sure I’d be into them. Then I put them on, and they totally won me over again. This brand is just Kut for the Kristi, apparently, and I’m happy to know it. I kept them and I’M SO GLAD I DID. They’ve become my go-to, and I’m wearing them now.
I decided to request something a little bit different from my usual style. I asked my stylist to try and find clothing that was sexy without being provocative – maybe a little bit of a detour from my usual “cute” look. I knew it was a rather vague and not easy request to fulfill, but I thought she did a great job!
This was another one that I had put on Pinterest – I love the style of it and the pattern! I feel like it’s different from anything else I own. I liked it and my husband and friends all said it looked good so I kept this one. Can’t wait until the weather gets warmer so I can wear it!
With each piece I put on, I started with that sense of dread and ended with a smile. Stitch Fix has always come through for me. My stylists have always acknowledged any notes I’ve left and have tried their hardest to find pieces that I’ve pinned or referenced. I absolutely loved my April Stitch Fix and every piece has made me feel great. It was just what I needed for a solid boost to my self-esteem.
The first thing I did when I opened my box was pull out the Kate Boyfriend Jean from Kut from the Kloth. I’ve had a similar pair in the past and loved them, but they were getting rather worn out. This pair was darker than my older pair and not distressed, plus they were available in petite. I pulled them on and was in love all over again. I instantly felt good. I hadn’t said anything to my stylist about sizing and these were perfect.
